Hi Yago, it’s a pleasure meeting you! How are you doing? What have you been up to these last months?

Hi Adrian, it's a pleasure for me too, I’m doing well. I’m now focusing to adapt to the big city that Madrid is, with a different mind, a lot of opportunities…

To begin with, could you tell us about yourself, please, and maybe tell us something not everyone knows about you?

I’m a restless man. If you saw how I live, you would probably think I can’t stop, but it's not 100% how I am. I love working out I don’t care if it's in the gym, playing in the university team, or running. I think my mind needs sports to control all the energy I have each day. The thing that people don’t know about me is that I’m direct with the people in my circle because I always think all of them have amazing attributes to be successful.

I believe you have Spanish and Brazilian roots. How do they shape your character and how do they make you unique? How’s it being raised with these two marvelous cultures together?

For sure, because I’m a reserved man, but I love to know amazing people from different cultures. The quality that I like most about myself comes from my Brazilian side, that doesn’t matter what happens, you can always see a smile on my face. Sincerely, it's amazing, everyone in my family is really funny and it's why I joke all the time and I try to show the benefits of smiling and being happy every day.

Have you lived between Spain and Brazil or how was your relationship with both cultures? What do you like the most about each one?

I have always lived in Spain but I went to Brazil six times and I hope I can go every year. My relationship with these two cultures is based on taking advantage of the best of each one of them, since for me they are the countries where you can live the best, even knowing that both have their advantages and disadvantages. From Spain, I love the way people live, because we’re in Europe but we don’t work all time like in Germany and it's important for us to have good relations and spend good time with friends and family. From Brazil, how the people help you unselfishly, and the way that the Brazilians are proud to be Brazilian, and have no qualms about using their flag and representing themselves in their sports teams. It is something that in Spain I would like to see happening.

You’re now studying in Madrid if I’m not mistaken. What are you studying and what made you choose this career path?

Yes, I am studying Business presently and a master of stocks and investments online. It was easy to choose because I love finance and everything related to money since I think that whoever knows how to generate and distribute it avoids a lot of problems and can do whatever he wants in life.

You also love fitness. What is it about it that you love the most? How many times a week do you work out per day and what’s your routine?

I work out every day. You have to think: why not spend one or two hours per day making a thing that is good for your health and brain? The thing I love the most is being alone and surpassing myself.

When and why did you make your way into modeling? How do that story and exciting journey begin?

I always saw myself capable of doing it, and after trying several times, it just happened that one of the photographers became one of my best friends. Of course, I'm talking about Sasha Olsen. We are so different and come from such different cultures that every day we learn something new about each other and with mutual respect and admiration we managed to get such good work together.

You shot a lovely story for Yummy with Sasha Olsen and you’ve done some shoots for Yummy as well. What’s it like to work on projects like these and how much do you love the experience?

I love it because it’s true that the pictures are amazing but so are the anecdotes we had while doing the shoot. Just remembering them makes me laugh a lot. In a world where being correct is so valued, that casual and cheerful atmosphere makes me never stop working with him.

This time, you shot with Hanno Swanepoel. What was it like shooting with another model while naked on the beach?

It was great because I met him days before, and he’s a funny guy but when we pretended to fight for the pictures, there was no way I’d win, that guy is very strong! Honestly, it was a pleasure.

On to the yummy questions, what does the word yummy mean to you?

I honestly have a negative idea because it reminds me of Justin Bieber's song and how many people try to take advantage of young people, especially in the modeling world.

How do you feel about nudity? Do you see it as a freeing state?

Of course, I do see it as a freeing state. I live in my underwear at home and I think it is a taboo subject because many people do not like their bodies and are uncomfortable seeing themselves uncovered, but if with your good and bad things, you look good in the mirror, what are complexes good for?

From your point of view, what do you think is your favorite and most attractive feature? What do you find attractive about another person?

I sincerely think that my way of being myself is what makes me have such incredible relationships with the people around me. I am always willing to listen and learn and that nowadays is something that is not very common. In another person, the most important thing is how they think, that they are positive and physically that they look good.

You look like a really active, open, and passionate person. What do passion, intimacy, and sex mean to you? Are they important in your life?

The truth is those words define me quite well. Passion moves everything, and I always try to do things that make me keep it high day by day. Intimacy is something very important and something that my mind requires very often. I am a person who has a mind that never stops and even sometimes accelerated, so I need to be alone either in a spa or meditating to think about how to solve my problems, improve some aspects of my life, or just enjoy some time alone. I recently went alone to Romania to a spa and enjoyed the happiness of being alone and feeling fulfilled, I recommend it to everyone. With respect to sex, I’m a sexual person with all of what that implies.

Lastly, what does the future hold for you? How do you hope to be a couple of years from now?

I prepare each day for my future by working more than I would need. I hope to have more knowledge and be more patient. Of course, I want to have the financial independence to be able to make all my passions come true and spend a lot of time enjoying myself with my family and friends.
